My path into mental health wasn't just a career choice. It was a calling, rooted in my own experience navigating anxiety and depression as a Black man, and in watching the people around me carry the same weight in silence. I know what it's like to need support and not know how to ask for it — or where to find it in a form that actually felt like it was built for me.
That's the gap I set out to close. For a lot of Black men and women, mental health care has stayed out of reach — not just because of access, but because of stigma, and a history of disconnection from providers who never fully understood the cultural context of what we carry. I believe counseling has to be more than a method. It has to be a space of trust, compassion, and real cultural understanding — one where someone can share their struggles without fear of judgment.
Everything I do comes back to one belief: healing begins with transparency. Not performance, not the version of ourselves we think we're supposed to show — the real one. I've seen how transformative it is when someone stops managing an image and starts being honest, first with themselves, then with the people around them. That's where actual change starts.
What started as a personal mission became a space — especially for men and young adults — to feel seen, heard, and empowered in their healing, without leaving their identity at the door. Senti blends proven therapeutic approaches with tools built for how people actually engage today, including gamified therapy that makes emotional growth feel less like a clinical checklist and more like a practice you return to. Through Senti's services, apparel, and digital platforms, that mission keeps expanding — into a movement centered on Emotional Fitness: understanding yourself, regulating your emotions, and building resilience through intentional reflection and real community.
I hold a Master's in Education and am a National Certified Counselor (NCC) and Licensed Associate Professional Counselor (LAPC), with years of experience supporting people through emotional regulation challenges, addiction, and behavioral health concerns. I'm also a speaker and educator, working to shift how we talk about mental health — openly, and without shame.
My mission hasn't changed since day one: to make mental wellness a natural, ongoing part of life — not just a goal you chase when things fall apart. Through vulnerability, compassion, and cultural understanding, I want to help people rediscover what they're capable of.
Healing starts here — join the pack.
